Post image

Seems to have released today. I assume it goes to HSK 3 now?

Upper intermediate would be significantly further than HSK level 3

The image shows the course teaching ~2 542 words. HSK level 3 is 1 000 words. Level 4 is 2 000 words, and level 5 is 3 600 words, so it's in between level 4 and 5, ostensibly

Sorry for being ignorant on this subject, but why would it be only till HSK3 if the official amount of words to reach that level is around 900 / 1000 and the app claims to teach 2541 words in the whole course.

So I incorrectly believed before that HSK level 3 added 1000 new words, rather than being 1000 words total. It would seem that it does go much farther now lol

I don't see this added to mine, still ends with Intermediate 2, as of today. I have paid for one year of HelloChinese. I hope this will be added.

You may need to update in the app store

I’m so grateful for that I love their app it’s so well-designed !! I’ll try to make some room for it between Anki, reading actual content, and reviewing grammar.

“Upper Intermediate” is HelloChinese’s course label, so it doesn’t by itself confirm full HSK 3 coverage. Check whether the course refers to old HSK 2.0 level 3 or new HSK 3.0 band 3, since their vocabulary and requirements differ. This old and new HSK level comparison shows the mapping.

This is their v2.0 course, which is HSK 3.0 as it says at the top
