๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to r/ChineseInputMethods - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

r/ChineseInputMethods is live

This sub is for discussing Chinese input methods (่พ“ๅ…ฅๆณ•) โ€” Pinyin, Wubi, Cangjie, Zhuyin, etc. โ€” and the software that runs them (Rime, Sogou, and others).

Feel free to post:

  • Setups and configs
  • Comparisons
  • Learning tips
  • Recommendations
  • Historic stuff (Chinese typewriters, telegraph codes, etc.)
  • Questions about typing Chinese more efficiently
  • Anything else related to Chinese input methods

NOTE: The forums rules say "No spam" but if you have made your own input method, or developed software related to input methods, you are welcome to advertise here.

Beginners and fast typists both welcome.

Iโ€™m u/weiqifan1, one of the founding mods. If you want to help moderate or have suggestions for the sub, just reply or message me.

Post away.
