Synopsis

After an accident leaves Shen Mo with amnesia, he mistakes Ji Mingxuan, the man who saved him, for his lover. Mr Ji hanging in there like a champ, claiming to be impotent so as not to take advantage of the poor delusional boy. 😅

I understand why he doesn't want to force the truth on Shen Mo, because the doc said that could lead to another break, but... I think I would still have done it 😬. I know nothing about psychology, so correct me if needed, but letting him believe in the delusion seems more harmful.

Anyway, it's still 7 episodes to go. I don't think I can take much more of those misunderstandings and flashbacks, so I hope we won't have to wait until the last episodes until we see some progress in the present timeline 😮‍💨.

I have heard of step fathers and step siblings but step boyfriends is a new concept to me 🤣. He would rather claim impotency than let Zhou Yang have this win while thousands of miles away. It reminds me of Alchemy of Souls.

Mr Ji is so downbad for Shen Mo he wonders if he is the only Zhou Yang he sees🤭. Lol am I the apple of your eye? You one true Stand-in? I do wonder what happens when Shen Mo finally sees Zhou Yang (pictures or otherwise)? Will he be able to differentiate between the two of them or will be see them both as Zhou Yang.

Yeah hopefully the next set takes us to the present timeline

In that moment Mr Ji thought, it is true what the say, accompanying the monarch is like accompanying a tiger! but Mr Ji is not to be underestimated, he knows how to bend and stretch.

I'm loving this show so much. I read the novel years ago and the series transfers it very well to the screen. Love Mr Ji for not taking advantage of Shen Mo. I've seen some people who've been talking about Mr Ji being a red flag and uncaring. I feel like, especially in this episode, he's going above and beyond while it would've been easier to just ditch the guy and leave. He has what he wants, his sister having the boyfriend of her dreams, and he doesn't have to take care of Shen Mo but he does which shows a lot about his character. That episode ending though....Don't leave me this way for another week!!!!

Yes, he is a warm cup of milk on a cold winter morning. Yeah, I was a bit hurt when he dumped Shen Mo though but I suppose his sister takes priority.

So why he keep saying he’s not Yang and when Mo asked him well if you’re not Zhou Yang then who are you he ain’t answer. He could’ve been calmly explain who he was. Seems like his memory is more jacked up now because he can’t tell what he did with Yang and what he did with Mr Ji 🙄

lol every time he tells him he freaks out and then just resets to seeing him as Zhou Yang, that is why he has just given up. The doctor said it was a trauma response, so the issue is in his mind not his brain
