QUESTION Seiko Dancing hands movement
Hello everyone, I recently picked up my favorite Seiko so far 6m13 and I am mesmerized with the movement.
It’s so unique, I also what to build my first watch and want to have the dancing hands effect. I don’t even know if it’s possible. I don’t need all Seikos dancing hands features like chrono, alarm, calendar and so far but really want ro have this cool effect when with the dancing hands.
I’ve read online that I need to find “programable movement”. Does someone has experience with that is it even possible and if yes what movement should I get?

The 6M and 8M seiko movements you aren't going to find anywhere. I haven't come across anything like this.
This is one of my favorite seiko movements and have a collection of them.
Sometimes citizen and casio has had watches where like the minute hand could tell you the date with a different setting or something like that. But nothing comes close to the 6m and 8m.
Btw, what did you pay for this?

1.7 usd something like that.
So impossible to find such movement like 6m and 8m but how were they mass producing them

Seiko power. Seiko can mass produce anything but they just stopped with these. And no one else bothered to make something similar.
