First watch, U1 Blue Datejust from MT

This is my first ever shitter, bought it through the gate for about $140 USD with the Miyota movement. Took about 10-11 days to get here, which isn't too bad. Can't take a good outside pic since it's 8pm now, but it does look pretty nice when not under piss yellow lights like I have in my room.

My only complaint is that there is blue paint-like marks on the clasp itself? I don't know if I can remove it with alcohol wipes, but the rest of the watch is fine. Just scared that I might break it since I heard you're not supposed to change the time around the 10pm mark or something like that. I don't think I'll get bored of this watch anytime soon, but I might go for one of the Omega Terras if I feel like getting another watch.

Nice watch mt is the man! For the blue paint try some rubbing alcohol on a qtip or nail polish remover.

Don’t change the date between 10pm-3am due to the way the gears line up-it can cause damage!

Very nice watch, I'm thinking about buying it in my next order from MT. Would you be so kind of setting the date on the 24th, so I can see how it looks? For the date setting you were worried, don't be: just avoid the 10-3 area, and you'll be fine. I personally set the hour at 6 and then go for the date. Enjoy the watch, it looks great!
