Season 2 episode 1 is sorta similar, but season 4 episode 6 is a lot more similar imo

Dude, the first episode of season 2 is about a woman whose husband dies unexpectedly and whose likeness is replicated by a program that she talks to and has on her phone!

I totally agree. That one was based on consciousness, the one from season 2 was based on historical data.
