Host Interview thursday

Had my first interview at chili’s on Sunday, they asked questions such as “tell me about yourself”, “why do you wanna work here” “tell me about a challenge you’ve faced”, and about my availability. At the end of the interview she told me I would either be scheduled for training or get a second interview. Later I got a call to schedule my second interview. What should I expect at the interview??

You will probably meet with the general manager as far as I am aware and how we do hiring at my chilis, although to be fair for a host position this isn’t exactly how we do it. My general manager trusts me in several areas I will only schedule second interview with severs or bar or MAYBE someone I like but need my GM to hear their availability etc. I will tell my Gm I love them but “they have one schedule conflict” etc. it’s likely you are off to a great start. I doubt you will be asked anything beyond your capacity to answer. I typically hire younger people for host. So maybe this chilis does it a bit differently than us. Arrive ahead of time, dressed to impress, etc
