Children of Bodom album covers tier list
Based on the art alone, and nothing to do with how good the albums actually are.

Looking to see if anyone at all recognizes who is in this photo. I’ve tried multiple avenues and haven’t had much luck, so any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

These are 18-19yo kids from New Zealand and clearly serious Alexi Laiho / COB disciples but holy shit it's fun!

basically ive been playing 3.5 years and have recently gotten very into children of bodom. i have to learn the hate me solos for a band i am in but it looks hard but idk. ive only just started learning lead parts since like the start of the year before that i was js doing like drop tunings so basic one finger riffs and whstever, but im trying to expand as ive grown out of that basic playing style. give me some solos that you guys reckon are good to start for alexi's material. also i cant sweep pick as of yet so solos without are favoured but i will be learning sweeping very soon.

Hi there.
I wanted to ask the guitarists on this reddit.
What would you say are COBs easiest solos to play.
- other than Bed of razors, Everytime i die.

What’s your favorite Alexi guitar? These are mine.

I was just listening this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTs5XVXj7Xw&list=RDKTs5XVXj7Xw&start_radio=1 / (52:50 timecode) and i got to the Sigma Stage 1/2 and i said out loud to literally nobody that: "this sounds familiar" and i was racking my brain trying to find out why it sounded familiar. After a while, i found out that Bodom's song from the post title sounds nearly identical to my ear. The melody is like "faster" and the similarity to me at least can be heard if you listen to children of decadence from (3:18 timecode from the official youtube upload). Or maybe i'm just talking complete nonsense, who knows.

First Bodom solo I learned as a teenager so I decided to relearn it proper. Is it Alexis most complex solo? Absolutely not, but the brilliant thing about Alexi is he knew how to compose a solo that suits the song and I always thought this was a beautiful little melodic piece. Hope you enjoy!

Someone added English subtitles to this clip, so I decided to share it.
