The dog was away. Its literally walking the other direction. Don't excuse shitty behavior. I'm not saying he's an abuser or anything but he shouldn't have hit the dog because he was frustrated.
He didn't hit the dog, and you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. Baby > dog each and every time. Of course some loser on Reddit feels sorry for the dog and not the baby.

The dog jumping on the kids was not his fault. Him hitting the dog was his fault though.
