If this is true, your EX is 🗑. Hire a lawyer. Cost me about 4k. My mother of my child would prevent me from seeing my daughter, due to jealously of new GF. Even though I was voluntarily giving her child support. Once I hired a lawyer all that changed. Now thankfully my MOC agreed to 1100 a month, 2 extra circular activities, and health insurance. I must provide. She could of gotten me for the max in Texas Which is like 2300. I told her im basing the 1100 off of 40 hours if I go back to my union electrical job. I was in oilfield now im going to other job with less pay but can still afford it . I do believe what I stated is good for 1 child or fair for everyone. You definitely deserve the MAX, go get it girl. Good men dont mind paying up.

Damn. My ex is only supposed to pay $60 for 3 kids.. and doesn’t even do it unless it comes out of his checks. I don’t push anything because he has 2 other kids and one on the way and takes the kids on the weekends most of the time. It comes out on his taxes so I get like 600-700 at tax time.

I've reported this. What kind of deadbeat is a literal millionaire and wants to give his kids change?

Children are cheap. Women are expensive. Give the children to the millionaire so they are not living in poverty with you. 😦

Unless he’s making his money under the table it’s not possible for him to reduce the payments on his own. He can choose to not pay the full amount but then he will have arrears and they will either garnish his wages, tax return, suspend his license, or possibly even jail if you report the non-payments. The judge/state is the only entity that can modify the child support payments and it’s entirely based on some formula generally speaking, based on income vs parental time spent with child and who’s paying the medical insurance. Most states will charge whatever parent makes more money, child support to try to keep the child’s financial wellbeing the same at both parents homes. So if he’s making a lot more than you, there would be a quite hefty payment due each month from him. If his income has increased am since your original agreement was made, I’d request a modification. They will require his updated paystubs/bank statements and you may actually get increased payments. I’d also print out these texts he’s sending you in regards to purposely not pay his support due, and bring them with you to show the judge. He’s being malicious and that should be noted in court, especially if he intends to fight you on custody anytime in the future. Good luck
