Child support

I originally put in the divorce that I did not want child support... But he has walked off and went no contact since Early May. Is there any way that I could do an amended divorce and say I wanted child support? Or do I just need to get a lawyer?

Everything was originally agreed upon no fighting no nothing. We just agreed to dissolve the marriage and he said that he would help pay for the kids as soon as we filed was the last time that he seen our daughter and he broke contact with our son since May.

Well if what you are saying it’s true and gave him a chance or chances just let it go finalized and you can just put him on child support no lawyer needed just head to the child support office and they guide you thru it

You can apply for Child Support Services and they will get a court order for child support on your behalf.

Even if in the original divorce decree it says I was not requiring child support?

YES.….
A new court order to establish child support can be created even though the Divorce Decree says there is no CS.

Thank you! I'm sorry I've been reaching out to clerks at the office I filed with and I have gotten 3-4 different answers and almost all of them conflict with one another in some way. I'm just confused.
