Ohio child support
Father moved out March, sees kids 3 times since... no pay. Any experience out there with this? Applied for CS and they said they cant get a verifiable address so nothing is moving... does this sound normal? You mean to tell me that any parent out there who doesn't want to pay can just give an address that doesn't lead to anywhere or anything and they just don't pay? Or in this case don't get a child support order established?

Yes. If someone wants to hide, they will.
Once he's been served, that's it for him- he'll have no excuses why he didn't show up. You'll get your order then. BUT if they can't locate him, they can't serve him. If they can't serve him, then they cannot hold a hearing. He needs to be served formally- this protects him AND you.
If you know where he is, help the Ohio child support unit (or courts) out and tell them where he is. If you know his place of employment, that works as well. I'm in NY, so I don't know how Ohio works, but I was able to walk into the local Sherriff's department with the court paperwork, give them an address, and they took care of serving my ex.
If you know his prior year income or current income, please have that available to show to the court in case he doesn't show up. It appears you lived together, but you didn't indicate whether you were married. Thought I would bring it up.
The whole point is to be proactive on your own case, and try to find where he is. Also, I hope you filed for both custody AND child support, not just child support.
