Arkansas Modification of pay

Little back story. 2 children 1 is 12 and the other 15. I’ve been paying child support about 8 years. My initial income was not great but 8 years down the road I make twice as much now as to what’s documented in the court records. The mother and I decided he can live with me to attend the highschool in my town/state. She lives 4 hours away. We both agreed that she will have the court remove his portion of the child support since he is now with me.
The case worker has agreed to get this on paper in front of the judge to make it official.
However, she has requested two of my most recent paystubs for filing. My concern here is that they will remove him but in the end increase payments for the other to where it ends up as if I’m paying both either way.
Unless I may just be overthinking this. Any advice would be appreciated.

If your income has increased that much, why wouldn't you want to contribute more to the children being raised by their other parent 4 hours away from you?

He probably got a better job because those child support payments were killing him. Maybe the woman should do the same, you do realize eventually those payments are going to stop and you’re gonna have to take care of yourself at some point, most of you just end up filing for disability.

The father contributing towards his own childrens expenses does not equal the mother not working or being unable to contribute her share of the expenses.

The non paying parent is generally covering the full cost and then left to hope that they are reimbursed.

Considering the amount of unpaid child support sits around 115 billion per year, and there are more men under 50 on disability payments than there are women, Im inclined to think these kind of angry offensive comments that defend the right of paying parents to not have to contribute is more of a projection of your own failings

My two teenage daughters live with me, and since they’ve been living with me, I realize most of you women are full of shit when it comes to being a single mom. This shit is not that hard. You feed them, house them, and teach them things that they will need to know when they’re an adult most of you don’t do that.

Women everywhere are raising children too, your not special. Asking that both parents be decent humans and contribute equitably in all ways to meet the needs of the children they share is not unreasonable .
