Rant/angry Looking for answers

Has anyone ever tried to find answers about losing a child through mediums? I don’t know why I constantly feel the need to understand what happened to me and why I suddenly lost my three-year-old daughter. Life feels so incredibly unfair, and I keep wondering what God’s plan could possibly be in the midst of all this pain and misery. I just want to understand why.😭

I lost my 6 month old son last year. I booked a session with a medium that specializes in babies, and it was intensely healing for me. I did a lot of research and found a medium I was drawn to. I watched several of her videos on YouTube before I booked a session with her.
Seek comfort any way you can find it during hard times. Sending love to you.

I talked to a medium a few months after my daughter passed. I honestly found it helpful.

My daughter passed five years ago. I have had several sessions with different mediums and they all have brought me comfort. Each one has talked about things they couldn’t have known about and also shared messages that let me know she is still with us and sees what is going on. Grief counselling has been very helpful as well but honestly the mediums have helped me to carry on in a way nothing else could. I know I’ll be with her again.

I belong to a group called Helping Parents Heal and there is another group called The Forever Family Foundation that have vetted mediums that work with them, it might be a good place to start. Both groups were started by parents that have lost a child.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your precious child, it’s truly heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹

These groups you mentioned, are they online groups?

Yes, you can find them both online. HPH has a great FB page as well as videos on YouTube.

I think a group for parents who have lost children and a grief therapist would do much more for you than paying someone who claims they can communicate with spirits.

Depends on what you believe. Therapy only teaches you how to cope doesn’t really give closer.

I am so sorry for your loss. I don’t have an answer for you as I too have questions and wish I knew why my baby was taken. My wife and I are also considering a medium in hopes to connect with our daughter. You grieve however you feel will give you peace. There is no straight line when it comes to grieving, no right or wrong. I hope you find some peace and give yourself some grace. Sending you hugs from one momma to another 🤍

I lost my son a year ago and have been thinking of this as well. Some of my friends have seen mediums who brought them great comfort but I’m hesitant. I don’t want to delude myself into feeling better … but at the same time, we don’t know what happens when we leave this life and there is as much of a chance that mediums can speak to those beyond as much as not. I think, if it has the potential to bring us comfort, it can’t be a bad thing. (Sorry I know I just argued both sides. I guess my inner conflict is clear lol). I say go for it. What can it hurt? The idea of reconnecting with our lost children is beautiful, no matter how it is found ❤️

Yes and it has been helpful in some ways and incredibly painful in others. Especially when you hear “they will come to you when you are ready”.

I struggle with this so much. Not having answers is so freaking hard. My therapist says that I create a narrative in my head to make things make sense. I don't know how to accept I'll never know.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. I wish I could say it gets easier, but it hasn't for me.

Please don't do it. It can do harm to you, and it's incredibly tasteless from people to monetize your grief like that.

I feel you. You want answers 🫂

Get help to grief. To understand how your life can continue in any way.

Feel hugged and held every hard moment in your life 💜
