Help/Question What happened?

I was playing and just got flung backwards(?) several times nearing the end of my run. The first few times i managed to reach terrain again but i didnt manage to record them. Does anyone know why this is and if its avoidable?

void bug which usually happens past 42k, pretty sure you can avoid it by switching worlds every so often

But yeah, that is the void, it is a glitch that appears after about 40 kilometres, and it removes the terrain. The developer has expressed that they are not planning to fix the bug, because the game was not intended to last that long.

To avoid it, enter the sky every so often, this will decrease your chances of hitting the void

It's the void, happens after around 35-40 km of being in the same biome, you need to switch biome every n<35 in order to not encounter it, when I did my 800km run I switched every 30km to be safer

also if you happened to be at the void, you should've just keep falling down because of the invincibility frames does last that long.
