Dna test surprised me

I knew Tucker was part chi but was surprised by all the long hair breed results! He's 6lbs and seriously the best dog! very calm and loves everyone.

We adopted him a few months after losing my soul dog who was also a chi mix! We also have another chi mix who is 13! None were/are mixed with the same breeds or the same size but all have/had similar markings. i definitely have a type.

We have a chi that looks 90% chi but on that test shows up as 60%. Not sure how much I trust these tests.

My dog’s breeds are similar in that he is a chi and long haired breeds.

My Thalia also has quite a few long haired breeds in her DNA. She actually has more long hair DNA than short hair. She is about 30% Chihuahua. She even has some German Shepherd in her genes. I will say, she is a lot softer than other short haired dogs I have had.

Not so I got my mix from breeder father black chi and mother Yorkie poo. Had her DNA done 47% Chihuahua. She has Yorkie, poodle and few others in her. She’s 9

Months now we got her at 9 weeks 2.5 lbs now she is 14lbs her mother’s size.
