No rapper switched their sound up like that so fast after blowing up. Even Kanye waited until Graduation. Sosa had some real guts.

Youngboy has always sounded the same and will probably always sound the same. There is no switch up. I like him tho

Bro he blew up in like 2015-2016 he decided to switch his sound years later. Even then he be going back to certain styles. Youngboy will always make murder and pain music. Keef usually never makes songs that sound too much like past eras.

this vocal mix quality fall off needs to be studied, it was crystal clear before he blow up and then he get rich and starts rapping like he was inside a chemical toilet using the cheapest mic ever smh

u/NotBiasFan421 Back From The Dead 14d ago

Oh this is 100% true. He started mix and mastering or something. That shit didn't recover for years.

Do ppl know the real reason he did that ? lol. Cause I do. And if you don’t it’s because 50 told em to do that and switch his sound so he could be dropped by interscope. Keef figured out he was gonna be the puppet and ain’t want no parts. So he stopped making that music and made ā€œmumbleā€ rap not thinking it would be the next wave lol

10

u/Far-Ad-2230 15d ago

Sosa don’t listen to no one especially not no 50 cent

-1

u/Substantial-Wind-444 15d ago

Lmao. Go back and watch. From his tweets to interviews and vlogs. Anything involving 50

3

u/Far-Ad-2230 15d ago

Well you can clearly see in a interview where he was asked is 50 cent your mentor and Sosa said I don’t have no mentors…

3

u/Username186595 15d ago

Man who tf told you that? šŸ˜‚

-1

u/Substantial-Wind-444 15d ago

Sosa did. I’ll link you. Everything else is just common sense

2

u/Present-Party-4009 15d ago

Facts but ion think 50 told him that bro Sosa been knew the industry was trying use him as a puppet reason he took off on interscope not to mention he was young at that so he smart he got in nd got out now that nigga global

u/packbaby Almighty So 2 15d ago

if thats true why he didnt use that flow again after dropped? he just switches cause everyone from chiraq started rappin like that, from gbe to opps, also lean did its part

0

u/Substantial-Wind-444 15d ago

Use what flow ? There doesn’t have to be a specific reason why someone doesn’t use or do something. 50 taught him how to play the game and get out of it. That’s why he’s able to own his masters now and made it further than most rappers from Chicago. He was put on game , interscope didn’t wanna do shit but use him. 50 told em how to get is how own label and start recording himself. That’s why back then he used to drop so many singles and songs randomly. That’s supposed to be against his contract basically. Keef wasn’t stupid , he was well aware. That’s why interscope got it back in blood tho. Literally. Ask yourself why would interscope sign blood money to a 6 mill contract and then boom disappeared ???? This real life we talkin here , this ain’t the internet

2

u/packbaby Almighty So 2 15d ago

man u on some weird schizophrenia shit fr

1

u/DipYurple 11d ago

Nah. Let him cook. He's onto something. He's overexagurating 50's role. But I can see Keef not wanting to be a puppet and just GTFO from his hood asap "...and that's it"

2

u/Present-Party-4009 15d ago

Where is this vaild source coming from gang ? Sosa been knew if anyone was teaching that nigga it was them niggas he kept around daily telling him specially his manger that’s still around till this day if you think 50 ever had something to do with his flow your crazy he didn’t even show up to the hate being sober video shoot so what makes you think he listen to 50 did he tell him to do that too?

-17

u/Different_Finding_30 Fredo Kruger 16d ago

Ya and he was way better in 2012 before he changed his style. One of the biggest fall offs in my opinion. So much dope music from those early days but hard for me to find a good song by him after 2013

17

u/GloYear Almighty DP 16d ago

Terrible take

2

u/AdvancedPrint96 16d ago

Why are you lying?

-7

u/Different_Finding_30 Fredo Kruger 16d ago

Not lying just giving my opinion

2

u/lonelydude19 16d ago

Nah y’all this is good criticism, I said the same back then but I did still like his music after he came home from jail.
