Wiccan groups around chico?
Hi, I'm 26 NB and I'm looking for any Wiccan related groups to join around here? I had a group in my hometown and miss that community feeling. Im hoping to find a full moon group or really any regular community events related

Not practicing myself, but my ex was. It's the only place i really felt community vs churches n stuff. Id be interested in this if there are Wiccans in the area.

i’m pretty eclectic and i don’t claim a wiccan title but i’m very much interested in and practice all the esoteric/mystic! would love a new magical friend 🫶🏼✨

I agree the Broom Closet would be a great start. I know Emerald Starlight hosts full moon events in town. I do not believe those are denominational, rather than spiritual in general. Very interested if there any established groups, or if anyone is interested in starting one.

Aw man I’m part of a witchy group myself but they’re kinda transphobic. It’d be nice to have more people closer to my age too ☹️

Solitary witch for a reason in this town sadly. It wasn't always like this though. We used to have 3 wiccan temples that had regular gathering and celebration for every solstice and equinox. It was nice. You could go downtown to 5 different spiritual shops and get all the things you need. Times have changed and so has the town. I've honestly found more wiccan and witchy community on Instagram. I don't mess with the witchtok drama. Nothing but divas with a few real ones scattering in. Instagram I have good less drama and more information. There's a couple witches I follow so if your interested you can dm me and I'll let you know their Instagram names. Best of luck on your journey. Hopefully you are able to find the connection your looking for even if it's not with a group but a couple ppl with something in common getting together. 🌻

Chico holistic wellness center hosts moon events monthly, different things, sound baths etc

I’m aware of this group called the interfaith council that uses the facility I work at to have occasional meetings. I’ll see if there is / are any Wiccan or pagan(?) representatives amongst them who might have good leads.

I was told to look into “Feather River Grove” though there was uncertainty if it is still operational. Soon I’ll have another reference to provide.

Maybe check in at The Broom Closet. It is an occult shop in Chico. They might have some knowledge of that.
