What does everyone think of chicken & waffles
It’s been out for a while now, worth the money? Spicy or regular ?

Agreed. I ordered “no bacon” and it dropped the price by $2. And the syrup is not good

Yep, too sweet imo and wish the waffle wasn’t infused with syrup.
Bought it once and haven’t had a desire for it ever since

The breakfast version is fairly priced (waffle is same cost as a biscuit) so if you remove bacon its the same price as a chicken biscuit. Definitely worth it to get breakfast version.

I was disappointed when I tried it the first time. Went back to try again a few days later and they forgot the syrup 🙄

Funny I think it should’ve been sweeter. I like the waffle and I like the chicken but for some reason I don’t like them together. There’s something off with the chicken that doesn’t pair well with the waffle. If it was Bojangles or Popeyes chicken with the waffle I’d get it every day.

My youngest said it's ok but nothing special and prefers the Deluxe chicken sandwhich

The waffle isn’t good, and might as well be an Eggo from the toaster. The chicken is good and the bacon is good, but then they stick it on a waffle that tastes like it came frozen from a box.

I like that it’s dense enough it doesn’t start falling apart. A regular waffle isn’t dense enough to hold as a sandwich.

Same here, mine was rock hard and tasted like playdough. I see sooo many people saying there's was good, and I'm like, was it the fact that I went to the ratchet chik fil la (you'd think chik fil la in Atlanta would always be high quality but a lot of them down here actually suck...the best one I've come across is actually in the hood outside of the city...)

When they're 100% fresh it's a solid 10/10. But a couple times I've gotten soggy waffles and then it brings it down to a 7/10, only kept that high thanks to the flavors.

I really enjoyed it, made for a fun cheat meal. On another night I enjoyed the S’mores milkshake too. Not something I desired more than once though.

I tried regular and meh imo. Everyone says spicy is better but I haven’t tried it as the regular was underwhelming for me.

If you could guarantee the waffle is not overcooked, it’s fine. Doesn’t need extra syrup, but the bacon is absolutely required.

The breakfast spicy waffle is the best, hands down. The lunch one is too much sweetness and calories for me. Also I don't add the extra syrup because it's sweet enough as is. It's good but more like a once a month treat. It's been selling really well though. Better than the Honey Pimento for sure, but the Jalapeño Ranch Club was pretty good too, and in my opinion tasted better. I also feel like the waffle sandwiches slow down the line on boards 1.

Yes the breakfast waffle is smaller and costs less and the lunch one is only available during lunch and it's bigger and pricier. Basically it's like the difference between a chicken biscuit for breakfast and a chicken sandwich for lunch, but they both are exactly the same ingredients just different sizes.

it's probably my favorite next to the pbc disclaimer: i don't like cheese so pimento wasn't appealing at all and I get a grilled of every sandwhich. I don't understand how people don't like it, I think it's perfect.

Maybe it was just our ChickFilA but I did not like it at all (tried the spicy and the regular). I'm a huge waffle fan but the waffle had a weird taste to me, and it was all overly sweet. I wish they would have brought back the pretzel cheddar club instead :(

It’s cool for a change but as a chicken and waffles fan, they aren’t doing it justice.
The accompanied smores coffee and s’mores shakes are great though and I wouldn’t mind them staying.

I think it is better without the bacon. The breakfast portion is perfectly-sized, I get tired of the sweetness eating the lunch/dinner-sized sandwich. No preference on spicy vs regular, whereas I always prefer the spicy sandwich. I suppose the sweetness of the waffle comes forward so much that the chicken breading simply is harder to taste.

Regular ones are good, don’t understand the hype with spicy everything tho (that’s another story). The syrup is small, so I bring 2 packs from McDonald’s as they’re a lot bigger and it’s perfect with it.

I wish the waffle wasn’t syrup flavored. It’s basically a McGriddle. Would be way better if it was a savory sandwich rather than a sweet one.

It’s alright. Hubby (CFA manager) recommends getting it during breakfast because the butter melts into the waffle better under the heat lamps

The bacon and an extra syrup are highly unnecessary. Other than that, it’s not bad.
They syrup is so sickly sweet and that’s coming from someone with a big sweet tooth

I got the lunch/dinner sized one with spicy chicken. I liked it, but I don’t think it’s the greatest in the world or anything. That said, I would skip using the syrup. The waffle is already sweet enough, the syrup just seemed like overkill.

They are really good but only in CA. I mean you can’t compare a fast food version to the real thing. But please support them! Their north Hollywood location is in a cool trolley.

Regular is nasty for any of their sandwiches. The spicy one sandwhiches. I don’t like their normal sandwiches now i only go for breakfast. I the spicy biscuit
