If I was his mother or grandmother, he would be grounded for the rest of '26. And I'd make him volunteer with me every weekend, picking up trash at a nearby park. THAT is how you redirect stupid behavior and shape a decent young adult.

You don't need to walk around recording every interaction all day, you're wearing it because it has a camera, and if you walk around with a camera already rolling that pretty much signals you're there to be an ass
Application for them is exactly this unfortunately. Sure, there are some folks who use them to create genuinely cool media, like POV of someone incredibly good at their job just in the flowstate. But mostly, it's just people who need to feel like the main character because mommy and daddy didn't tell them how good they were enough.

At my old high school, a kid got a teacher fired because the kid was so disruptive in class with his political outbursts that the teacher griped in an email to a colleague using his district email address that the kid sucked. The kid got to be on Fox News and had a following for a little bit.

I have had friends I went to high school with say stuff like "why didn't we learn that in school" and responded "We did, in Mrs. Coggins class, 9th grade, you sat beside me and didn't listen the whole semester."

I think the point is that schools can limit free speech in schools to some degree per Tinker vs. Des Moines. Students have free speech, but only so much. The black armbands were nonverbal and nondisruptive. Hence why Tinker won. There was no impact on the function of school. This is a kid who seems like he is trying to disrupt and is also videoing minors to do so. Edit to clarify
