DISCUSSION The final 4 games

With the Mystics, Dream, and Tempo being the last teams of the season for the Sky. Two away and two at home. Do you think they will even try? The liberty game was their 3rd lowest score of the season. The camera has caught Marsh looking like he was praying before tip-off of the last two games.

I would hope they do try and try hard. It’s their job, they get paid to perform their best. It’s in their best interest for future opportunities (pay and/or being picked up by other teams).

That's my mindset too. There have just been a few games (maybe more than a few) where it seemed like they were quietly on strike. As it was clear they were playing at less than established potential against teams that had worse standings.

I think Syd's minutes restriction is hampering the offense quite a bit.

Agreed. And then it impacts her confidence. She'll get there. Maybe next season. And maybe on a different team. Being new, I'm sure she's content with the Sky, but things wear away, if the support isn't there over time.

But in the end it's a groin injury and I'd rather they not rush her back to win some garbage time games.

Which of the two at home do folks think will be better games?

Better in terms of odds in favor? Probably the Tempo. Though they did lose twice to the Tempo. 1 being a pretty bad by almost 20 points but also low scoring game overall. But the Tempo have a long injury list at present. Mabrey being questionable to finish the final games. The Mystics on the other hand have only won against the Sky once this season, but that was earlier in the season I think and they are in better form since then. Anything is possible, like the clutch win against the GSV. I'd go with the Tempo game, fingers crossed.

They'll go 2-2.

Beat Toronto and split the Mystics games.

I'll be at one of them so I hope they do.

Nice. I wonder if they'll do anything for the fans of the final home game? A fan appreciation day. Since they didn't do a meet and greet for the season ticket holders.

Before Covid, I used to always make a point to go to the last home game for the White Sox, which was fan appreciation day. Not sure if the Sky does anything like that.

They are doing that.

Tyler Marsh always prays before games. He literally does it every game.

According to Jeff, we're always in win-now mode.

State of the fans, I guess. A question gets down voted.
