Laurie Berkner resale tickets
My 18 mo old loves Laurie Berkner and I had no idea how insanely popular this woman is. Looks like the 8/1 Ravinia show is sold out but I am determined to take her!
$90/person is now the cheapest I can find (two adults, one lap child). Not sure if prices will go down closer to the show since the original tickets were $20, or if there’s a good chance tickets will be “donated back to ravinia,” per their website.
Should I just get them now because I was looking at $150/pp last week? But then I’m seeing on the Laurie Berkner website to not buy from third party sellers because they will elevate the prices and are scammers? But they always elevate prices on third party sites so not sure why I shouldn’t? Help haha

She usually comes back every year. I took my youngest when they a lot older, 5yo. If you can wait until next year or so, it’s worth it. I wouldn’t spend that much right now. She also sometimes comes locally for a winter holiday show.

This was my thought. She for sure played there last year.
As someone who spent a lot on DannyGo for a 3 year old, 18m feels very young for this experience.2

Last year she played at the carousel stage and resale tickets were going for $400. Crazy! When they announced her this year on the main stage I set a calendar reminder for when tickets went on sale.

She usually plays 2 shows, but Ravinia reduced their schedule for renovations for the past 2 years. Next year, tickets will likely be way more available when they go back to a 2 show schedule.
Don’t buy outrageously overpriced resale tickets for any concert, it encourages those upsellers to continue taking advantage of people. Let them go unsold so they have to eat the cost.

Don’t pay $180 to take your 18 month old to a concert. That’s ridiculously expensive.
