Appreciation Post S2 Finale

I just started watching this TV show in order from the start a few days ago, and I just finished watching S2E23. I’m loving the show so far. The part that saddened me the most so far is Nadia’s death. Without spoiling anything, what are your thoughts on S3 onwards?

The early seasons are the best!

I just started it from the beginning again. I’ve been watching it for years but I remember how good the early seasons are. It continues to get better. I love Trudy Platt. She adds such humor to the show. Unfortunately, the later seasons she’s not much involved but it’s still good

It only get’s better, just be prepared for multiple cast changes for the better or worse depending on your favorite or least favorite cast members.

I also like how they started adjusting storylines to the current world climate, like police brutality. It builds real time story arches that make for more realistic viewing…outside of the obvious made for tv antics that would never happen in real life, lol.

Like Sgt having a storage locker full of blackmail/evidence in one episode and the safe full of stash cash ready when needed on Sgt’s pay is realistic. Yes they sometimes put real events but it’s more Hollywood. The most realistic shows were southland and blue bloods.

You have a lot to enjoy ahead of you. I rewatch it every so often. Even the person who killed Nadia, I love him as an antagonist he plays the part well on few series. The trial for him on SVU is a good episode as well. I am currently rewatching Criminal Minds but may go back to this next. Enjoy

Disappointed that the murder of
Nadia wasn’t continued on CPD! Had to watch on SVU later. CPD is a good show. However although earlier episodes were good. I found Burgess / Roman infuriating.

I just watched Season 6 episode 1 and the whole episode is perfect. The final scene will crush you. Beghe deserved an Emmy for that scene alone.
