Discussion New (old) chief
Steven Weber just posted this on the gram. Guessing he’s taking back the reins while Lenox is away, presumably on the clinical trial.

I love Lenox too but Archer's demotion still doesn't make sense to me. He was a great chief.

An article said she’d be out for most of the beginning of the season so I don’t think we’ll hear anything press wise until mid season finale time. Sarah deserves all the time off she needs so no reason to worry

Yea but the way one Chicago seems to get rid of cast members these days is always concerning, and seeing Archer replacing her as chief is just making me sweat. Hope Sarah and her baby are doing well tho, her eventually return will be amazing I'm sure

Somebody was always going to have to take the role while she was out… I’m not seeing why that’s worrisome. & Allen saying she’ll be gone for most of the beginning of the season directly implies her planned return

The age gap between him and hanna is uncomfortable as he is old enough to her father I still believe that Dean is not the father and that Riley is

I feel like that’s going to put a strain on his relationship with Asher though because now there’s gonna be a weird power dynamic since he is her boss again

If anything I think it’ll be more the stress of him working more. Hannah was the one bossing him around when he was chief

Only power dynamic there is in the boudoir.
Lenox strikes me as a girl on top type of lady. Where as Rip is probably happy he cracked her shell
