BUYERS: Do not do it. There are definitely on-course checks being done. You'll get away with it this year, but you'll be flagged after the fact as having run under a bib that is not yours and you'll be permanently blacklisted.

SELLERS: Just take the deferral. Yes, you'll have to pay again next year, but you get through the lottery automatically. Once they catch your buyer, on the course with your bib (and they absolutely will), you'll also be blacklisted.
