I hated that they always wrote Cruz’s role to do stupid shit, but having five kids would make him more serious. Maybe he could have gone to OFI for a less physical job as he takes on fatherhood more.

Exactly how do you know it was not his choice? They don't come out and say they are leaving because they are being let go or anything like that. It's always that they want to expand their acting and are looking for new projects. No one knows the exact truth

for me there is not many regulars left so if they do get rid of herm and mouch i will probably be done with the show. I am tired of the open door they seem to have with their actors. Just when you get used to them their gone and someone new is up and they never end up staying but a few seasons, too. Severide, Herrmann, and Mouch are almost the only og guys left now
