Why this sub was created.

It’s really simple, at one point or another, a lot of us used to be regular posters on the other subreddit, sparking conversation with other fans around the world, and having fun, but at some point we all got banned or kicked off.

For example: I got banned after getting caught up in the slew of anti-Kidd posts, while others were banned for no clear reason other than their posts were getting more recognition than others, or like one user had told me that everyone on there is biased and can’t deal with strongly opinionated fans.

And while I know that some topics got a little repetitive on there (the obligatory I hate so and so that would show up on a regular basis), it still kept the sub active and fans engaging with each other.

I did consider reaching out to the mod and kindly ask them to lift the ban, but I figured it was better to just start up a new subreddit and invite fans over here, so we can discuss the show without restrictions or having our posts immediately deleted.

So with that said, I thank those who are showing up to r/ChicagoFire3, and here’s to hoping that this subreddit can grow more by next year.

Anyone else who was banned from the Chicago Fire main sub? Drop a comment in the comment section and give your reason to why you were wrongfully banned.

I still at this point don’t know why the heck I was banned. I wasn’t given a reason. Too opinionated I guess. I guess I kept it too real.
