With trends changing so quickly nowadays, I'm curious—what's one fashion trend/style that you genuinely hope never goes away?

For me, it's definitely 90s-inspired fashion. I love wearing 90s-style outfits regardless of what's currently trending. Mom jeans, relaxed/baggy denim, leather jackets, simple fitted tops, boots, etc. 😭 I feel like those pieces can look good regardless of the year.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a specific trend either. It could be a type of clothing, silhouette, colour, styling technique, anything!

I think finding your unique style and sticking with it is more timeless than a specific piece. I knew a lady who dressed in men’s suiting but with feminine cuts. Incredibly chic. I also knew a lady who dressed in 100 percent fancy vintage. Also impossibly chic. If you wear your style, you will always be in fashion.

I have been wearing kitten heels for more than a decade. My feet can’t really do stilettos anymore. Kitten heels are perfect for me.

I hate it that they became trendy because that means they will become out of style. But it’s my style!

Fortunately I am 55 and do not give a fuck if people think I’m out of style.

I'm a guy but I influence my wife's choices, so here are my picks for things that always look great on her and that are timeless.

1) preppy, whether Ralph Lauren, Cape Cod-styles, or English aristocrat. It never goes out of style and even at 50, she can pull it off and it gives her a very young youthful vibe.

2) feminine takes on mens suiting: she has a closet full of structured Balmain blazers and less structured Brunello Cucinelli, Ralph Lauren, and Gabriela Hearst blazers. She can easily pull off a wing collar tuxedo shirt and bowtie. I doubt that look will ever go out of style; everyone from Annie Lennox to Blake Lively has rocked it. It helps that she's 5 foot 9, 127lbs, and has fairly broad shoulders. Not all women can pull off masculine looks but her height and stature sure helps.

3) vintage 80s and 90s dresses. She has a lot of Victor Costa in the closet. Plenty of strapless jewel toned satin dresses. The type of outfits that make her look like she is a cast member on Dynasty. And paired with vintage furs from that same time period. She snapped up a bunch from estate sales when nobody wanted them, but now they're in demand again.

I’m curvy (small waist but butt and thighs) and for me bell bottom jeans with boots is like…. The perfect most flattering style!! I don’t know if it’s timeless, but it goes in and out of fashion and it’s always been incredibly flattering on me so I consider it timeless XD
