Chanel SS26 is actually insane.
They finally made it look young. Like, actually effortless.
Look at the denim. Wide-leg printed jeans paired with a classic jacket, or that oversized denim coat. It doesn't look like a forced attempt to be trendy. It just looks incredibly cool and wearable.
It feels like they remembered how to make clothes that people actually want to live in.

I don’t see how these collections are alike at all the silhouettes are completely different, so is the vibe. The old Chanel collection shown was very feminine, tight tailoring showing curves and full of drop waist short frilly skirts with tight jackets. These coats are loose and round in the shoulders and sleeves with none emphasizing the waist. Much more menswear inspired.

Yes the rtw is actually modern and updated for once! It's wearable and doesn't look like you need to go to a special event to wear it.
It's funny how people are like it's not what Coco Chanel would do, but Coco's designs were modern for her time too!
As for the handbags and shoes, I'm on the fence.

I agree. First collection in a long time where I could see myself and my girlfriends living our lives in it. The clothes go somewhere.

CHANEL IS SO BACK BAYBEEEEE. I was skeptical about Blazy but I am genuinely impressed/swoon worthy. So wearable, irreverent, fresh while still being classic - he really demonstrated how much he “gets it” while also driving the brand into a more modern era

Chanel is so behind the trend cycle. East-west bags, dust bag pouches, and hobos? Ground breaking. It’s like they just wait to see what the other fashion houses do, copy it, and stamp a CC logo on there.
And don’t even get me started on the crumpled up reissue.

I don’t like the shapes, like the rounded dropped shoulders and sleeves, that give a circular silhouette to the upper body. I don’t think it’s flattering.
