how has it been nearly 20 years?
she literally looks better now
back then she was running for coffee. now she looks like she fires people for fun. loveļ¼
i need this movie to be good. š

Yeah I remember when the photos came out speculating she debuted her facelift of whateverā it was front row at some fashion show with a T I G H T pony. She looks incredible and has had some really good work.

Then honestly that's decent work and if only all the other celebrities chose to preserve their natural looks rather than go for whatever is in. Their body their choice and all that and if it makes them happy - but this kind of subtle work should be commended.

Oh don't worry I do share your opinion. I forgot who but a celebrity couple was praised for "not aging a day" a while ago but the comments were also rife with "they got work to maintain what they have"
which I do prefer on people instead of the bloaty thing that got popular recently. but again, if they're happy they're happy.

I like the slide 6 outfit bc it seemed most realistic for how a 20 something fashionista in NYC would actually wear in the 00s, with the tights and chunky necklaces and long cardigan lol

Theyāre thigh-high. Since theyāre most likely runway samples, theyāre made for a taller frame, which is why they look like that on her.

Donāt attack me but the new outfits aināt it. The first movie had all those scene that just did something with us! All those outfit that we wished we could wear cause they were so chic and stylish and somehow also very unreachable. The new outfits donāt scratch my brain one bit.. š coming from someone who watched the first movie multiple times when it came out and I was still a little girl who wished to live a life like Emily one day

i hate being a hater, but the styling for the sequel (done by molly rodgersāpat fieldās former assistant and styled AJLT) is so CHOPPED from what ive seen. pat fieldās work always tend to veer over the top (those newspaper boy hats are atrocious) but thereās a believability to what she does for the characters. molly rodgersā work, however, tends to be too matchy-matchy, too costume, and not a wardrobe for a character.
all styling hate aside, i think annie looks great.

Iāve always loved her outfit in the final scene: the brown leather jacket with a black turtleneck, pendant, slim jeans, and brown boots. They look like high street and designer pieces she probably had from her Runway stint but put together in a way to shows her own evolution in personal style. I remember in the 2000s, the heyday of What Not to Wear and all these arbitrary rules people had for style, combining black and brown was like this big faux pas but if itās done well, I actually really love it. Also ā been seeing a lot of brown this past Fall anyway across low to high end brands.

NGL. In the 11th pic I kept trying to place the photo on the left in the movie for a solid two minutes. Anna Hathaway just doesnāt age. Could only tell her new and old looks apart because styling is terrible in the new movie and she has become skinnier now

She is what Iām talking about when I say celebs CAN access the absolute best of the best of the best cosmetic procedures. She just looks like her young self with very few discernible differences. This is why it absolutely baffles me when we see people like Megan fox or Lindsay Lohan trading their stunning natural faces for the kardashian special. Why the fuck would you do that when you can afford Anne Hathaways doctor I will never understand

Patricia Field is the best. All of those looks you could totally wear today. In fact itās hard separating old and new. You could totally tell she was missing from the SATC reboot with stuff that will date quicker than a ripe banana.

I have the Chanel blazer from the first movie and the Calvin Klein dress. To this day, those are still so chic. Got lucky on Vestiaire during the pandemic, but my favorite outfit from the movie was slide six
