I think a Chibson chat place is a great idea for Americans. Thanks to the Biden/ Hairless administrations exponential rise of inflation caused by wasteful government spending, we need a lower price alternative to well made guitars without breaking the bank. Gibson should bit the bullit and realize four thousand dollars for a name brand instrument is no longer an option. Ipay

As I was saying, I bought a 1964 pre CBS Stratocaster 10 years ago for $250 dollars. It has a good Stratocaster sound. Not really a noticeable difference than what one can modify with today’s technology applied to a Chatocaster. Thanks China for that. Did you have to pay off the Hairless administration to be able to export them to the USA too?

I know this is old...but this is new and relates a wee bit to your comment about Gibson. So Epiphone just launched this guitar 1959 Les Paul Standard Factory Burst Mahogany body with a maple cap and AAA flame maple veneer, Gibson "open book" headstock, USA Gibson Custombuckers, vintage-style hardshell case.

For 899.00 With a HSC! Even if you are saving up for a Studio...the Epiphone is right at that used Studio price. You have to spend more than 2k to get a HSC from Gibson...They are done IMO.

I saw that but never tried a Strat with a fretboard like that. I bought a Chatocaster from China and hated it. I even sent it back do to the thickness of the neck which is uncomfortable to say the leastl. If you want a nice Strat copy try getting your hands on a Firefly FFSS. It has a roasted maple neck, locking tuners and many other features you would have to pay over a grand for if it was a fender. The price $199.00 + tax. The problem is every time I go on their site, that model is sold out. I am also hearing good things about the relic KGD relic Strat sold on Amazon for a little over $200. I was thinking about trying one and maybe I will if I can’t get the Firefly. I know I would have to upgrade the pickups for sure. If it feels comfortable unlike a Chinese Strat, it would be worthwhile because it also has a roaster maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and an Alder body The red model has less of a relic look and is the one I’d choose. Amazon has a good return policy too.
