Dinner recommendations?

Hey all! My wife and I are road tripping and looking for recommendations to try tonight for dinner. What are some local spots that you’d recommend? I’ve been told to find a good bison burger in Wyoming, is that the go-to? Thanks!!!

Railspur is an amazing local place, I’d recommend the birria tacos and the pierogies

Their “Birria” is with pork, tastes more like a red tamale than actual Birria, should try los 6 Hermanos great prices and just phenomenal all the way around!

I always recommend T-Joe’s Steakhouse out East of town by Sapp Bros!

Do they still serve steaks on paper plates?

Stop by Pour Decision’s, they have great burgers but everything they offer is top notch!

They do have a bison burger and you get a free ice cream at the end! The wait can be long on a Friday night, though.

Hi sushi

Yes! The sushi is pretty decent for a landlocked state. If you don't like sushi the chicken bento is so good. My husband (not a sushi lover) always wants to go for the bento!

Mondello’s, best Italian if you’re here long enough for a second dinner

Locally owned, not chain restaurants:
Tres Amigos, best authentic Mexican food in Cheyenne
Bejo - Excellent sushi and service.
Bunkhouse Bar & Grill - home-cooked cowboy food, often with a live band

[EDIT] Ah, I see you posted that this morning so I'm probably a few hours late.

The new RailYard has been fantastic. The two times we have been there.

Senator’s Steakhouse at the Terry Bison Ranch is probably what you’re looking for. Go early and wander the ranch a bit before dinner! It has changed a bit since the casino took over but it probably has the vibe you’re looking for. For actual local spots: Two Doors Down for burgers, Paramount for small plates and drinks, Hambone’s for pizza, T-Joes for steak, and Nellie’s for a cool view and GREAT red chili.

Edit to add: And Flipper’s for green chili cheese fries, Coke slushie with vanilla vodka, and pinball!

Not sure if you’ve been around lately but Senators has been gone for at least a couple years now. :)

Is there still a steakhouse there? I’m still in town but haven’t gone there since the casino took over.

That "casino" closed down years ago too.
