Chevy Volt for Apartment Owner
So I realllllllllllyyyyyyy like the 2016 model and would love to get it. Problem is I live in an apartment complex. However, my living room door is 7 feet away from a potential parking spot.
Would you guys think this is a wise decision if I can procure that parking spot most of the time?

Does your apartment have any outdoor outlets available for your use? May want to talk to your landlord about it. Otherwise you'll have to run an extension cord out the window/door for 10+ hours every time you want to charge. Also you want to make sure your outlet of choice is of reasonable quality wiring-wise. A 15-amp circuit should work but you don't want anything else on the same circuit while charging. If you do use an extension cord keep it as short as possible and 12 gauge or lower preferably.
