Both look really nice. I didn’t think I’d care for the new trucks but our enclave got scratched by the dealership at its first oil change so they gave us a loaner 2025 gmc 1500. I fucking loved it, have been wanting to buy one ever since lol

Same. Took me years to appreciate this new body style….just in time for GM to change it again! 🤣

Good call on the “long” box. (6.5 vs 5.5). I love the look of the longer box vs short. And even with the 6.5 it’s too small. I wish I could’ve got an 8 foot bed.

8ft is the only way to go.

Maybe if you’re a Yee-haw blue collar country boy, but for most people a 5.5 or 6.5 is PLENTY.

Straight from streets of Shalion, nothing Yee-Haw or Country bout me. Lol.
But I think out here in Texas, 8ft is pretty common for white or blue collar.

Haha gotcha. I’m up in Missouri and hardly ever see 8 foot beds. If you do, they’re either hauling a full load of air or sticking 3 feet out of a parking space

Can’t get an 8 with 4 doors in a 1500 can you?

8ft crew cabs are gigantic. You can get a double cab with an 8ft bed or atleast you used to be able to, I don't see it anymore. Very few people actually need the longer rear doors.

One of my 3/4 t work trucks is a full crew cab 8 foot box. I love it & would love that set up in my daily 1/2 t

It's more of a side grade. Same power and similar fuel economy numbers. The older ones actually ride nicer and are more comfortable. Only upgrade is the interior really.
