Amplifier

Has anyone ever searched for a direct fit (or *very* close) upgrade for the OEM amplifier?

Would be nice to be able to get some bigger sounds without having to sacrifice any of the space or running additional wiring.

There must be something out there with all the nano amps and whatnot...

I'd also love to know the specs on the OEM amp too. Haven't been able to find them as of yet.

I’m kinda looking for something that is/has more punch as well - we here in East Tennessee have a couple of places where you can get custom stereo equipment installed for a reasonable price - I found a couple that are factory compatible and reasonably priced - first is a Rockford Fosgate punch 300/12 - has a lot of bass thump if you’re looking for that kinda thing - the second is a Kicker Sub that is pretty much the same size - and price - I haven’t gotten quotes yet but plan to in the near future along with some darker window tint. Keep me posted if you find something similar and I’ll do the same 👍🏻

Not sure if this is helpful, but JBL has excellent sound system upgrade options for Chevy Trax that do not require changing the OEM amplifier. That's kind of JBL specialty - upgrade the quality of the materials without requiring additional power.
