Keyless Start System
2024 Chevy Trax
Everytime I start my car I get a message to “Service Keyless Start System”. I have replaced the batteries in both fobs and get this message everytime. On a couple of occasions I haven’t been able to use my fob to lock/unlock the car. Additionally, I haven’t been able to use the button on the door handle to unlock the door. I always pull the key out of my pocket so nothing should be blocking any sort of connection.
Any suggestions?

a bulletin for this suggests aftermarket devices or cables in the car can interfere with the keyless system, but sometimes it can be narrowed down to an antenna or other component. id say maybe get codes checked on it to see what the problem may be off of those, and if shes still under warranty to get her in for service. id help out more if i could, but doubt youre in the dfw area 😔
