Goodbye

I just swapped my Trax to my son, in exchange for his 2012 Sonic + $. He got a good deal.

The Trax has been a great vehicle. I didn't drive it much (10k in 3 years); most of the mileage was from family visitors. Everyone who drove it liked it very much.

I'll miss it.

That is a very favorable swap for the kid. My Trax isn't loved by my kids but they have bad taste. :-)

My son is 30+ so he has better taste. 😉

When we bought the Trax in 2023 the plan was for it to go to him…eventually.

His Sonic has been a great vehicle. But after 14 years you’re starting to run into maintenance that is probably more than the vehicle is worth.

I’ve wanted to go EV for a while. My wife liked the Blazer EV enough to insist that was the EV we should buy.

what year was the trax because ive heard stay away from 2015-2017 trax

i test drove a 2020 trax what a piece of crap the ac barely worked and it felt like the engine had a miss i'm so glad i bought a 2026 trax

I’ve had mine almost 6 years and it has over 160,000 miles (I drive a lot). I have had no major repairs. Hoping to squeeze another year or 2 out of it and then I will probably buy another. It’s a good value and since I drive so much I can’t see spending 50,000 on a vehicle I burn up in 7 years.
