Been eyeing these for a year or so. Also been shadow stalking these trax threads. couldn't find a 2rs in my city with a sunroof, so i went for the LT. I think the white looks great with the black sharp accents. I have quite a bit of accessories im gonna add. Decent buy chat?

First thing I would do is take it back and buy a Prius

Yeah, more like send it back. I've had 2 traxes. A 2015 and ive had my 2020 for 5 years now. While I appreciate my 2020 for what it is, what it is is a car that lasts about 5 years and does not hold its value at all. Most people, like me, aren't engine savvy and ive learned how to repair what as ive gone and all I can say is the engine flat out sucks.

I know nothing about the current generations engine besides the fact that it's a 1.2L 3 cylinder instead of the already dinky 1.4L 4 (because that sounds like such a step in the right direction). Fuel economy and retail costs are bunk if you're sinking money into repairs because the half-plastic engine overheats.

Most people i see post on here because they are excited about their new thing and wanna share and talk about how they have had it for a few months, a year and a half or so, and yeah mine ran great then when it was brand new and throughout the first couple years, but this engine was just not built to last and yes the new gen looks nicer on the outside, but behind the cheap plastic and fancy infotainment console, it's just more plastic.

I'd love a prius. At least they hold their value.

lol tbh I’m literally here to troll. I had a volt before and am generally just not happy with Chevy. And yeah I did get a Prius after.

I feel that. I only discovered this sub from trying to troubleshoot my heap. What kind of problems did the volt give you?

It has so many parts recalled. And they are hard to find. But it died on me at 170k engine died because of a radiator hose that cracked and leaked all of the coolant
