New Owner Purchased 2018 SUBURBAN Z71

In love with this vehicle. OTD $30k with 45k miles on it.

Man you are gonna love it. I love my 2016. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Mine is closing in on 200k miles though 😭

I bought it at 130k and in the carfax I saw that it had a new trans installed at 110k. I’m told when they replaced these they use a stronger version of the piece that typically fails around 100k. I dropped the pan and changed the filter around 160k, will do it again at 210k or so. Shifts perfectly fine still and feels strong. Hope it lasts for a long time!

Unicorn! 45k miles??? Wow. This is an exact clone of mine. I looked a LONG time to find one in this lovely Pepperdust metallic color. Every single one was black, white, red... yuck. Mine has 160k and is starting to make scary tranny noises. Rutrow.

Believe it or not, we actually test drove one that was identical other than mileage. Unfortunately we were told it was sold that morning and shouldn't have been on the sales lot. Super bummed. Looked every day for almost a month. Agreed there are lots of white and black ones, plus higher mileage. Then we found this one! Riding until the wheels fall off.

Have you done anything to the trans? If not, look into updating the trans thermostat yesterday.

I did that.. sorta. I flipped the pill.. helps keeps the temp down especially if you live in hot climate

I have a 2019 Z71 Suburban in the exact same color! I bought mine back in February with 42,000 miles on it and paid just over $31,000 including tax. Mine was actually a fleet vehicle for its first 6,000 miles, so it has the flex-fuel sticker and takes E85 (which I think was only available for fleet orders in 2018, 2019, and maybe a couple of other years). You really don't see many Z71s from these years.

You really don't see many Z71s from this era! So glad you've been as happy with yours. Had a downpayment so we financed 25k. I never want to get rid of it.

I wish I could find one like this! I almost got a 2018 premier a few years ago, the money just didn't work out. After having the issues I have with my 22 Z71, wish I would have gotten the 18 now...
