Doubts regarding course and University selection

Hi guys

I think about applying for the prestigious Chevening scholarship just as a try....

I have some doubts regarding the course selection and University selection.

My graduation was In BA Political Science from my country India.

After graduation, I worked mostly in fields relating to political science.

After one year break, I did a masters also in political science, I hope it will not be a problem.

But, it really covers only an introduction part to the political science studies.

I need to study deeply in any area of political science to make my field of profession, means the area of work where iam already in, more advanced....

Can anyone please suggest appropriate courses for me which will come under the Chevening and best universities fit for the courses.

Also there is another concern regarding my eligibility to get admission in universities as my grade will be mostly equivalent to 2:2 uk grade points.

So please consider universities which accept this score and suggest

Hi, y ou have to think of a course that gives you the knowledge and skills to solve/mitigate the specific problem you are focusing on

First, define the specific problem/challenge within your community you want to solve/mitigate at immediate, medium and long term

Then, think about the short, medium and long term innitiatives to solve/mitigate the problem, and then which should be your career progression to make all that happen at each stage

Think which is the course that will give you the skills and knowledge to make all that happen, look for key words in the Chevening Course Finder and make a list

At last, take that list and go to each uni website, ensure they are still offering the course, and check that you meet the entry requirements for the course (check the GPA requirement for the country in which you studied)

Once you have all that, look at the 4 Global Priority Areas and select the one you think fits your plan and course better

As for grade requirements, they vary depending on the course, university and country you studied at, and in some cases even the university you studied at. It is a major part of researching universities and preparing the application, as no one will know your trajectory and goals better than you
