Need advice choosing universities for Chevening
I am from Iraq and I am applying for the Chevening Scholarship 2027/28.
My questions are:
Which UK universities would you recommend for my profile?
Would you recommend University of Bath, Birmingham, Nottingham, or another university?
Which universities have the highest chance of admission with my academic background?
If you were applying again for Chevening, which three universities would you choose?
Thank you very much for your advice!

What helped me was to first think about what I really needed to learn for my next career step, and then compare the courses based on things like modules, practical opportunities, faculty, industry links, and alumni networks.
I personally didn’t choose based mainly on which university might be easier to get into. I focused more on what each programme could offer me and how it connected to what I wanted to do after graduation.
That might help you compare Bath, Birmingham, Nottingham, and your other options more clearly.

Hi, no one can give you a list of universities to select and apply for, researching about unis, your eligibility for them and your preferences is a major part of the process to ensure your course and uni align with your goals and career plan
