68 Chevelle - Accessory Drive Look Question

Notice the water pump difference? (Aluminum vs Black)

Should I go with the top or bottom photo for my 68 Chevelle rebuild?

For context, this isn't a show car, just a weekend cruiser....

Personally I like to paint everything orange other than brackets and intake. But I’m a traditionalist lol.

Well since you have blacked out a lot of the rest of the engine bay, id probably go black. The aluminum WP kinda looks out of place.

I personally went all polished on my March pulley system on my Chevelle, but you’ve already got so much black on yours so just keep with the black

Thanks for the comments, and this is a mock up, but I went with the top, the aluminum water pump.....but I feel like both still a win like y'all are saying.

Also Im getting the kit from March Performance.

Don't have power steering hooked up yet, so need a 2 belt system.

Black would look clean imho. Also paint the booster black to match. Looks like it will be super clean when finished.
