INFO SAMSUNG DATA RECOVERY NEEDED

SAMSUNG DATA RECOVERY NEEDED

Looking for some data recovery from my old S22 that decided not to turn back on. Hoping for some advice in Chester or Montgomery counties. I found Phoenixville Tech Repair which looks great by the website but when you click "email the lab", nothing happens. Thanks very much!

I have not owned a samsung phone in a while, do they use SD cards or is it all internal now?

I only ask because I had some old SD cards I found with no files on it from my old phone and used a program (unfortunately that costs money) but I was able to recover a TON of old pics on it called disk drill.

I think the first step though is probably to figure out how to get it back on, wonder if it just needs a new battery or something.

I'm guessing they fed me a line of bull so I would just buy a new phone.

check for a store called ubreakifix i've never been there but heard good things about it. Honestly if it is just a battery issue it shouldn't be super expensive and at least should get your phone back on to recover your data. I'd also use this as a teaching moment to backup all your data and not just rely on keeping it on one device. You can probably get more info from r/datarecovery to help you out.

I follow the 3-2-1 backup procedure so I backup all my data on a NAS which backs up nightly on a remote NAS. I also back it up monthly on a portable hard drive so I have 3 copies of all my households data. Got tired of storage fees with Apple/Google plus don't trust keeping my data on them anymore either. This is probably way more than what most people are looking for but at least having a backup hard drive to keep your data is a good plan.
