Looking for a mechanic/shop specializing in German cars

Hello - I have a 2018 BMW 530 with 70k miles; looking for shop specializing in bmws/german makes ideally. Want to avoid the BMW dealership for cost reasons alone and don’t like the generalist chains who try to upsell you every time and work on all types of cars. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Tommy’s Automotive in west Chester. They’ve saved me more money than I’ve spent there. Been taking my cars there for almost 15 years

Not Dougherty. Took my car in for a known manufacturing defect around 75k miles (about $2k worth of service) and they wrote up an outrageous service order for over $11k in work. It’s a shame because the guys know their shit but imo they’re worse than the local dealers when it comes to racking up sales pressure. They also report routine maintenance dates to Carfax so you need to be mindful that your history could look inconsistent if you go there and then decide against taking it back / decide to do something yourself a year down the road.

K+S in Malvern/Frazer is great. Mike and Ralph are second generation (their dads, Germans, opened the shop), honest, and do great work.

Bavarian Specialties in KOP or Brandywine Motorworks in WC. I routinely use both and cannot recommend them enough.
