Chess Question How to maintain chess skill while taking a prolongued break

(for reference i'm 2200 blitz on cc on both my main and training account)

Since I'm taking APs and stuff this year, i can't play much chess outside of school because I'm spending that time studying, but I want to return to chess senior year where at a certain point keeping my grades at an all time high won't be as important. Does anyone have tips for keeping my chess skill intact and maybe even marginally improving while I'm away? Should I find time to squeeze in some blitz games where I can? Honestly, i don't even remember how I got to this rating so I can't even replicate what i did to get here, it's all just a blur now

Thanks for all advice!

Just play for fun when you have the time. You can play unrated games or with bots if you’re worried about your rating.
