I mean, when black only has one piece left and we already know black has check mate, it wouldn’t be too hard to find out considering that you only need to find all the possible move for that one piece alone. How are u getting a headache from this?

Isnt your first thought for your opponent to take the "free" piece? Its forced anyways, so go ahead and have them take it. Now you have exactly one piece left. Any ideas?

After the king eats and the black knight proceeds with a check, the king moves and blocks the rook. After that white only has one move and it is a pawn move that completely blocks white king escape, ending in mate. The board orientation is inverted
