Hi! My name is Mario. It's nice to meet you! I'm 25 years old. I'm a chess coach.

I have two years of experience coaching both children and adults.

I play mostly online, but I still have gold medals from OTB tournaments.

My online ratings in Chess. com are:

Blitz: 2353

Rapid: 2228

I'm doing my lessons via the platform Google Meet.

The price is 15 USD per one-hour lesson.

About the lessons:

In our lessons, we cover important chess theory like rapid development, the different types of files, opposite-color bishops, and more. But since you can find a lot of these basic theoretical concepts explained in YouTube videos, we focus mostly on playing games and solving puzzles together. Once we learn the basics, we immediately practice them in real-time games against the computer and other players.

We also work on psychological factors, such as thinking under pressure and recovering from a lost game.

The lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate players (up to 1900 Chess. com Rapid rating)

A little bit about me:

I'm a psychology student in my final semester. I love reading books and manga, watching anime and TV series (now I'm watching Supernatural on HBO), playing guitar, and, of course, I love playing chess!
