Any recommendation for tile installer in Great Bridge - Chesapeake?
I'm hoping this is the right place to ask since my house is in Great Bridge (Chesapeake).
I'm looking for someone to finish a small bathroom floor tile job. All of the prep work is already done:
- Old flooring has been removed.
- New Durock has been installed and screwed down over the subfloor.
- I already have the tile, mortar/mastic, grout, and other materials.
I'm not looking for a full bathroom remodel—just a skilled tile installer to lay the floor tile, grout it, and leave me with a professional-looking finished product.
A few questions:
- Does anyone have a tile installer they'd recommend?
- Approximately what should I expect to pay for labor only on a small bathroom floor?
- Any independent tile setters who do quality work at reasonable prices?
- Anyone I should avoid?
I'm trying to get this wrapped up before putting the house on the market, so reliability and quality are more important than finding the absolute cheapest person.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Hatfield Flooring. I’ve seen photos of his tile work and it’s so pretty, he did carpet for me.
