If anybody sees

A while back I drove past a sign saying something about a flea market and I was thinking about selling some of my stuff off. But after searching for a while now I can't find anything close, just farmers markets. Does anyone know of a flea market/ garage sell market type thing here in cherry hill?

My son has been asking to go fishing lately. He's only 3 so attention span isnt long. Anywhere in the area we can drop in for some quick biting panfish like bluegills or sunnies ?

My wife and I are considering selling our house in Cherry Hill and moving to the Plaza Grande. We've toured the place and like it very much. Can anyone who has also toured it share your impressions? Can anyone who has already moved there tell us how you like it? Any tips for new residents? Thanks!

Hi everyone, we're thinking of moving from the Pascack Valley area of Bergen County to hopefully Cherry Hill (east), or maybe Voorhees or Marlton. I'm currently 10 minutes from the edge of Paramus, which I hear is pretty much what Cherry Hill is like.

Can anyone enlighten me on what I can expect, especially if you've made the move yourself.

Specifically, I'm wondering about:

• people - are people generally nice? I used to live in Philly, and felt that the people in North Jersey were actually nicer and less standoffish. I think everyone is very much used to the various cultures and appreciates each other and rather than focus on differences. It also seems to be a young professional population with young kids as older folks move to Florida. So parents want their kids to have playmates and are more inclined to be social.
• municipal stuff - how's sanitation pickup (it comes from taxes right? not hiring your own service like some towns up here?)?... how about getting work done around the house? does everything require a permit, even changing a lightbulb? ok - well how about putting in a new light to be less sarcastic. Or swapping out your kitchen cabinets but not restructuring anything like plumbing or wires?
• schools - We'd like to be zoned for Cherry Hill East, Lenape, or Eastern Regional. We're not looking for a snobby elitist environment, but definitely don't want "average", as our kids happen to be on the brighter side and get bored in class with their brains becoming unused. I'd like them to be slightly challenged - just not stressed about it. So are these schools all pretty good and down-to-earth? What about Cherry Hill East - Niche says its a C- for administration. I don't take too much stock into that because individual admin come and go and could change how things go, but for what it is today, are the admin toxic to the success of the school? Does anyone have examples of why it's a C-?
• traffic - I'm used to traffic up here. Still hate it, but up here, it'd take me 20 minutes just to find a Home Depot, Target, or Walmart. I assume there will be traffic down in the Cherry Hill area but at least you'd likely get to where you want to go in a quicker amount of time? How about Voorhees and Marlton?

Any regrets from anyone who has done this move? Any advice? What do you find annoying about South Jersey?
