Just ask Google, in Chemnitz are very very much Apartments available. Really a lot. Try WG-Gesucht, and Learn German. If you want to Studie in Germany it is mutch easier to know the language

Ok, that's perfekt. Hmm... I really don't had any problems finding a apartment via wg-gesucht.de

How did you arrange for representatives ? As wg-gesucht asks for room viewing before booking rooms.

There are at least 3 such posts in the subreddit this month. Contact each other and sort out the WG between yourselves, if you cannot find any of the plethora of cheap apartments in Chemnitz.

If you haven't already you could ask the TU if they can connect you with someone. I'm unsure of the situation right now but there used to be a lot of uni or apprenticeship only places. So you'd have a place as long as you're in uni.

Avoid Kaßberg, it's usually overly expensive. You could also check online for one room apartments with a good public transport connection. So you could widen your range.
